John Assadi specializes in the representation of foreign employees of multi-national
corporations, international entertainers, scientists, and professional athletes. His clients have included The Soros Foundations, The U.S. Soccer Federation, Columbia Artists Management, Inc., Albert Einstein Medical Center, and the Rainforest Foundation. He received international media attention for his work on behalf of several Chinese artists who were aboard the Golden Venture ship. His representation enabled them to obtain permanent residence as artists of extraordinary ability. Other major international artists he has represented include Gilberto Gil and Sting. He has been interviewed about immigration issues by The New York Times, The Christian Science Monitor, and CBS News.
